About Me

Hello!  I earned an Associates degree at CCAC and my Bachelor's at Seton Hill University in Health Science (pre-med) in the spring of 2020.  Then birth work called my name and I knew I had found my true calling helping families through pregnancy, birth and the months after.

Prior to becoming a doula I explored different areas of the medical field.  I really value the ability to spend longer durations of time with clients, having the chance to get to know them and their needs better.  During school I spent time working in restaurants and caring for people with various disabilities in their homes.  I learned patience, multi-tasking, the importance of creating a relaxed atmosphere, safe food preparation, allergen precautions, crisis resolution and gained valuable experience with many medical conditions including diabetes.  I have found all of these skills and experiences have helped me to become a more compassionate and well rounded provider.

In my personal life I enjoy spending time with my nephews and goddaughter, traveling, SCUBA diving, and when Pittsburgh weather strikes curled up inside with a show or good book.  I do not have children of my own yet, although I am blessed to have many kiddos in my life!  Just cats and fish for now, which allows me the freedom to get up and go on short notice.

I am CPR and first aid certified.  Fully vaccinated and happy to wear a mask.
